There’s a lot to do in Malvern but a visit would not be complete without vising this quaint, quirky and exceptional theatre. An experience you just can’t get anywhere else in the world.
This little theatre which used to be an old Victorian toilet black. It has been transferred into a place where you can visit and watch a short and surreal theatre performance lasting around 6 minutes. It is said to be an experience you will never forget.
Reviews we have read for this venue have said the theatre performance is captivating, eccentric and frivolous. The show is said to be a Python-esque puppet show and is very popular. This little theatre seats a maximum of 10. The entry fee is very cheap and well worth it by all accounts. It’s featured in the Guinness book of records as the smallest theatre in the world.
Every inch of the place is covered in decorations, a painted ceiling with faces in, with faces also hidden in the flower beds in the garden outside too. Everywhere you look there are amazing and interesting things to see. You may have to wait outside in the summer months until the performance has finished but rest assured there will be plenty to see and find whilst waiting.
The performances change quite often so you may wish to visit the theatre of small convenience a number of times…at your “convenience” of course!
A unique and fabulous experience for young and old alike.
