If you make a visit to the Prince, it’s likely you’ll soon enough find yourself in the renowned garden, and this is a visit you won’t regret. Covered by an extensive marquee and kept warm by patio heaters (and Bruno!), what lies in store is an exciting and comfortable place to drink regardless of the time of year. Very spacious and always popular, you can be sure of a great atmosphere and just to sweeten the deal, they have table service on offer, ensuring drinks are brought directly to your seat.
At the weekend they will have a dedicated member of staff bringing a selection of shots directly to your table in the garden. You get comfy and they’ll bring the party to you! A Jelly babies flavoured shot perhaps? Maybe Werther’s Original is more your thing? Or perhaps you’d prefer a Murray mint flavour? That said, they do still offer all the traditional party starters, with a round of Jägerbombs continuing to be a favourite.
In addition the garden is also home to several other aspects of the pub such as the Mo-Tiki bar, Shed du Vin, La Choza and shots, so rest assured that there is a little something for everybody.
The garden is great place and as dusk descends, you can be sure it’s the place to be. Come in, take a seat, get comfortable, and party.
Cigar Smoking? It doesn’t matter if it’s your first cigar you are looking for or you are an aficionado of many years, they have the perfect smoke to help complement your evening at The Prince. Smoking cigars is a journey and the leather chesterfields at La Choza are a great place to stop along the way. Their selection of Cuban Cigars is not the most extensive in the land but manages to feature popular smokes alongside personal favourites and recommendations. They pride ourselves on our collection of New World Cigars.
The little wine shed (or Shed du Vin as they prefer to call it).
Alongside a full list of 12 reds, 12 whites, 3 Roses, 3 Proseccos and 2 Champagnes, they show case 2 different reds and whites each Thursday night. You can try 2 small glasses for £5 and receive a complimentary bowl of olives. They also offer some light refreshments to accompany your wine in the form of a variety of international cheeses and biscuits to boot.
The Tiki Hut is all about fun, rum and fruit juice. The wild and the exotic. Cocktails like you have never seen them before. Join Sam, Jack, Niamh, Phoebe, Bradley and the rest of the team every Thursday through Sunday throughout the year.
There’s flaming Zombies, Home made Grog, Rum Jungles and even the infamous Mo-Tiki Treasure chest.
Drink Pina Colada out of a real coconut or share a Zombie for 4 in a massive 3 pint Conch shell.
And of course the gaffer’s favourite … The Prince Dark and Stormy. This place is a MUST visit for those who like to be amused and introduced to new things.
