Embankments is situated on the River Medway behind the grand architecture of Maidstone’s Archbishops palace, where the turn of the century street lighting which creates a warm glow to the quayside and water. This experience and is carried through as you enter into the restaurants internal areas with warm lighting and art deco style design and decor.
There is a new alfesco sun deck area where you can relax in the sun listening to music, while watch the boats and river wildlife pass you by!! There are over 80+ covers outside which you can enjoy our food or just pop in for a drink or both.
This unique restaurant boasts 60 covers where guests can enjoy great food and wine presented through a range of specially created menus designed to complement each other and provide a dining experience to be savoured for quality and most important in today’s climate value for money!!! They also do the traditional Sunday lunches as well.
The Bar area of Embankments is available for private dining for larger groups or where guests can relax and enjoy drinks with or without food.
During the evening’s the view from the Bar of the Ragstone bridge and lights of Maidstone, could fool you to believe you were on the water looking inland in either London, New York or Vancouver.
Embankments also offers entertainment with a range of Jazz, Soul & Motown, Swing and Opera nights.
