This place is a burger bar with attitude. But beware….they don’t take reservations and because they are so good you may have to queue. Its worth it so find some patience!!
They serve burger combinations that you most likely have never thought of. We liked having Brie in our burger. Yummy. Its not just the strage combinations of burger and accompaniments but its the unusual sauces and different fries. It also has some very unusual art.
How about the Almost Famous Suicide Sauce? The Almost Famous Redneck Sauce? The Almost Famous Pho King Sauce?
How about fries with Marmite on? You will either love them or not it will seem?
But the quirkiest thing about this place is that they are doing well on the back of NOT advertising themselves and being the best kept secret around.
They do cocktails…but they are not keeping how they make them a secret as they offer a Masterclass on how to make them…and you also get to drink them at the class too. Perhaps I will remember the first two I make…but anymore than that I tend to slide into oblivion. (I know….I am a lightweight…or maybe a cheap date!)
We visited the Manchester restaurant but they are open in Liverpool and Leeds too. We say “Well done Almost Famous for being just what we at QWerkyness love” Mr Q and Jacks favourite place to eat.
