This amazing castle is only 15 miles from the famous John O’Groats and it boasts the largest Tree house with a bedroom in Europe.
To be frank you have to have a good look all over the web for photos as the web site we found just didn’t have a large enough gallery to make me as excited as I became after doing my research.
Let me tell you I agree that this is a stunning 15th century Castle with 21st century luxuries. It became even more exciting to know that at certain times of the year you can watch the incredible Northern Lights.
Standing proudly above the beach at the northernmost tip of Scotland, Ackergill Tower is one of the most atmospheric and iconic castles imaginable. Steeped in over 500 years of fascinating history and shrouded in mystery and romance, this beautiful castle is an incomparably magical setting for events.
Boasting spectacular views of the North Sea, Ackergill Tower is the ideal balance of peaceful tranquillity, Scottish history and contemporary flair. With the sound of bagpipes echoing through the castle, there’s no need to set your alarm for the morning!
The remoteness of the castle adds to its undeniable appeal, and here you can truly get back to nature by exploring the unspoilt Sinclair Bay. Love might not know any boundaries, but fortunately Ackergill Tower is easily accessed, and not as far away as you may think.
We really like the Imperial Dinner, which is also available to people who are non-residents. Put on your kilts and tartan and enjoy their impressive pipe band, who will then pipe you into the Great Hall for an unforgettable dining experience. You will enjoy a delicious traditional Scottish meal, complete with plenty of whisky and Scottish traditions; quite possibly the experience of a lifetime.
MR Q….book this NOW!!!!! I demand it. (Foot stamps loudly on the floor to make my point).
